Conventional nail polish and remover are completely off limits for anyone in a treatment process or in remission from cancer. The reason is that the impact of the chemicals absorbed into the skin and nails place significant burdens on already taxed organs like the liver. Acquarella, water based nail products, opens doors and provides a way to enhance your beauty and dignity without any nasty, harsh chemicals or side effects along the way.

Donner is a forest green with a silver shimmer.

Acquarella is a system of products designed to work together. SurvivorRoom recommends using the complete system. Proper preparation and application will give you the best results.  Please see instructions below for detailed instructions.  Your product will arrive with additional instruction details to ensure great results.

Acquarella polish is a water base with a non-toxic, proprietary acrylic emulsion with ultra low residual monomer levels (< 0.1%), ensuring safety. The non toxic colorants are specially formulated using iron oxide pigments. Acquarella Conditioner is a clear polish and free from any colorants.

    How to Use:

A little nail maintenance will help your application and improve the wear of Acquarella nail polish. We recommend filing and buffing your nails. Filing helps to remove any splitting or other nail issues and let’s be honest, it makes them look better. Next comes buffing. Why is buffing is an important part of the process you ask? Since there is no base coat or top coat, any nail surface imperfections are more visible. Additionally, a buffed nail surface allows for better adhesion of the Acquarella nail polish.  Click here for the Acquarella 3 Way Buffer and File Kit.

    Application instructions

Nail Prep: Using Acquarella Conditioner, follow the diagram that will arrive with your product and repeat the cycle each day for three days. Make sure to remove all existing Conditioner each day before reapplication and buff nails only on the first day. This process “detoxifies” your nails from residual oils and emollients, thereby enhancing wear and adhesion. After the third day, you are ready for Acquarella Nail Polish.

Everyday Use: Using Acquarella Nail Polish, follow the instructions above with buffing and nail preparation done on an as-needed basis.

To Remove: Use Acquarella Polish Remover.
