In addition to assisting with blood circulation, it is made of a non-irritating material.  It also can be worn as a compression garment when healing is complete. The Velcro fasteners on straps and the front closure make this bra easy to put on -- you can slip into the garment with minimal arm movement.  The inside pockets can hold your silicone breast form(s) or leisure form(s) comfortable and securely.
