Below we have a compiled a list of organizations and foundations you may find helpful.  We have listed them by the type of cancer or activity in which they are involved.  Simply click on the website name and you will be re-routed to that website.  If you know of an organization or foundation that should be listed please CLICK HERE.  We are always looking for suggestions.

Lymphoma

Lymphoma Research Foundation - Lymphoma.org - The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is the nation's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and providing people with lymphoma and healthcare professionals with up-to-date information about this type of cancer. LRF's mission is to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - www.lls.org - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  LLS not only funds livesaving blood cancer reasearch around the world but also provides free infomation and support services for patients and caregivers.

Childhood Cancers

Childhood Leukemia Foundation - clf4kids.org - Supported by an ever-growing network of passionate and devoted donors and volunteers, The Childhood Leukemia Foundation helps ease the day-to-day struggles of children fighting cancer and the families that love them. The Childhood Leukemia Foundation is a national non-profit organization that provides a myriad of services – totally free of charge - to children battling cancer and their families

American Childhood Cancer Organization - acco.org - ACCO is one of the largest grassroots, national organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with cancer and their families. ACCO acts as a strong advocate for families in Washington D.C., they produce high quality materials on childhood cancer, and have over 40 local affiliate organizations across the country providing direct services to the families in their communities.

Pancreatic Cancer

Hirshberg Foundation - Pancreatic.org -  The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research, and providing information, resources, and support to pancreatic cancer patients and their families.  The Hirshberg Foundation is committed to the following and more - fund medical symposiums for pancreatic cancer research, fund seed grants for new research projects of merit for pancreatic cancer, consistently update the pancreatic.org site with the latest news and information, host fundraising events to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer and provide financial assistance for patients

Lustgarten Foundation - Lustgarten.org - The mission of Lustgarten Foundation is to advance the scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer by increasing funding and support of research into the biological mechanisms and clinical strategies related to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of pancreatic cancer; facilitating and enhancing the dialogue among members of the medical and scientific communities about basic and clinical research efforts that relate to pancreatic cancer; heightening public awareness of pancreatic cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention and providing informational support for pancreatic cancer patients, their families, and friends.

Nueva Vida - Nueva-Vida.org - Nueva Vida supports the Mid-Atlantic Latino community by providing Outreach & Education, Patient Navigation, and Mental Health & Survivorship.

Melanoma

Skin Cancer Foundation - SkinCancer.org - Since its founding in 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has set the standard for educating the public and the medical profession about skin cancer, its prevention by means of sun protection, the need for early detection, and prompt, effective treatment. It is the only international organization devoted solely to combating the world’s most common cancer, now occurring at epidemic levels.

Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma.net provides mesothelioma cancer patients with support, education, and hope. They also provide free services matching patients with top mesothelioma doctors, veterans support, and brochures containing the latest treatments, research studies, and support groups. Native American

Native American Cancer Research Corporation - natamcancer.org -  NACR's mission is to reduce cancer incidence and increase survival among American Indians and Alaska Natives (AIAN).  This mission is addressed by conducting and promoting research, education and training in regards to cancer, partnering with other Native organizations locally, nationally, internationally and partnering with non-Native organizations or institutions.

Caregiver Resources

Today's Caregiver - Caregiver.com - Caregiver Media Group is a leading provider of information, support and guidance for family and professional caregivers.  Today's Caregiver magazine, the first national magazine dedicated to caregivers, the "Fearless Caregiver Conferences", and their web site, CareGiver.com which includes topic specific newsletters, online discussion lists, back issue articles of Today's Caregiver magazine, chat rooms and an online store. Caregiver Media Group and all of it's products are developed for caregivers, about caregivers and by caregivers.

OncoLink - OncoLink.org - Through OncoLink you can get comprehensive information about specific types of cancer, updates on cancer treatments and news about research advances. OncoLink updates information everyday and provides information at various levels, from introductory to in-depth. If you are interested in learning about cancer, you will benefit from visiting OncoLink.

Assistance in Healthcare - AssistanceInHealthCare.org - Assistance in Health Care in a not for profit organization which provides financial support to patients undergoing active treatment in the Tulsa area.

Hope Cancer Resources - HopeCancerResources.org - The mission of Hope Cancer Resources is to provide compassionate, professional cancer support and education to the Northwest Arkansas region.  Hope Cancer Resources  employs a highly-professional staff which includes a team of licensed oncology social workers, a Spanish interpreter, and certified health education specialists.  They provide transportation, financial assistance, emotional support in group settings, free cancer screenings and education on cancer prevention which includes breast self-examination, smoking cessation, tobacco prevention, promoting healthy lifestyles and other means to reduce the risk of cancer.

Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House - ReynoldsCancerSupportHouse.org - Located in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, The Reynolds Cancer Support House is the largest free-standing cancer support facility in the country. Their mission is to provide free, non-medical support programs and services to cancer patients and caregivers, and to provide educational programs to the Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma community in support of early detection of cancer.  The Cancer Support House provides a multitude of opportunities for cancer patients and caregivers to connect with each other and access services that have a major impact on their lives including: support groups, a professional salon (wigs, hats, turbans, as well as cosmetology services), medical supplies, transportation assistance, financial assistance, exercise, drawing and other art classes, and a lending library.  

The Caring Place - TheCaringPlaceNV.org - Located in Las Vegas, Neveda, The Caring Place, a program of Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, is dedicated to easing the journey of those touched by cancer in the Las Vegas and surrounding areas. An oasis away from medical facilities, The Caring Place provides no-cost programs and services to support, educate and empower those who have or have had cancer, their family members, friends, and caregivers.  A few of the programs include support groups, massage therapy, reflexology, reiki, art classes, guided imagery and nutrition lessions. (Their programs and services are intended to assist in healing mind, body and soul and are not a replacement for medical care.)

weSpark Cancer Support Center - weSpark.org - weSpark Cancer Support Center is located in Sherman Oaks, California and serves the Los Angeles area. weSPARK is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients, their families and friends. weSPARK provides, free of charge, multiple services designed to heal the mind, body and spirit of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. Programs include support groups for all ages, jewerly making, massage therapy, yoga, reiki, knitting, nutrition, mah jongg, reflexology and much more.  

Pain & Fatigue

Pack Health - PackHealth.com - Dealing with cancer treatment is tough enough. Having to manage pain and fatigue during treatment as well as in survivorship can be even more challenging.
